Continuing Education Instructor - Enrichment; PT

Job Summary

The Division of Continuing Education offers non‑credit courses for personal enrichment throughout the year within communities located in Bowie, Corinth, Denton, Flower Mound, Champions Circle, Gainesville, and Graham. Classes are held evenings and weekends.

Subject to criminal background check. Employees must reside in Texas or Oklahoma. Certification/unofficial transcripts required in addition to application dependent on the class. Salary is $22 per hour, with no more than 19 hours a week. This posting is used to create a pool of applicants for future use; there is no timeline expectation attached. Applicants will be contacted as the course catalog is being built at the beginning of each semester.

Certificate or education required based on class.

Passion for subject matter and ability to enthusiastically share what you know! Flexible, strong organizational and community skills. Must be able to operate computers and other relevant technology, such as digital signatures.

2+ years of experience in the field of topic proposed.

Teaching experience with ability to deliver course outcomes and content through a variety of teaching/learning styles.
