Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with state and district curriculum standards.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student growth, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning.
• Use assessment data to guide instruction and ensure student progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support student achievement and school goals.
• Maintain classroom organization, manage student behavior, and promote a safe and respectful environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Texas teaching certification for 1st/2nd grade or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to high academic standards.
