As a Engineering Development Lab Technician (Dress Cover/Patternmaker), you'll contribute to meaningful projects that shape the future of aerospace.

This position contributes to our vision by:

 Works from complete blueprints and other written and verbal instructions.

 Responsible for layout and building of complete patterns using Pattern Making software.

 Sets up and cuts patterns to close tolerances.

 Reverse-engineer a product within the statement of work.

 Work with Cushion Development and vendors to maintain patterns to latest revisions.

 Maintains a high quality of workmanship and assumes responsibility for work performed in assigned duties.

 Maintains records and locations of patterns on tracking system.

 Performs other duties as assigned.

* At Safran Seats, we value service-oriented team players who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to our dynamic, innovative environment.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- 1-2 years experience in pattern making and general assembly.

- Basic computer skills, Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint

- Must have knowledge of scheduling, blueprints

- Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.

- Ability to read and review written communication.

- Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
