Overview
At Safran Seats in Gainesville, Texas, we craft aerospace seats. As an Electrical Design Engineer 2, you will contribute to projects shaping the future of aviation.
Responsibilities- Read wiring schematics and system block diagrams.
- Apply basic AC/DC theory.
- Communicate effectively with multiple organizations, including customers.
- Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Work independently.
- Check engineering packages and generate or revise specifications with guidance from senior engineers.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, EET, MET, ME, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent technical degree, or 12 years equivalent related experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 2 years related experience.
- Competent user of incumbent CAD (currently Pro-E and Catia V5) and data management systems.
- A working knowledge of electrical installation and system integration and design principles.
- Ability to understand and derive multiple customer standard electrical system requirements.
- Must be able to provide complicated layouts and program design studies.
- Must have a basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
