Aerospace Seating Design Engineer - CATIA V5

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer for a 03 month Contract job with a client in Gainesville, TX (Onsite). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Aerospace industry are a must.

Rate Range: $40/hour to $45/hour

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Duration: 3-Month Contract (Potential Extension)

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer with recent CATIA V5 experience to support the design and development of aircraft seating systems.

• Design aircraft seats and components using CATIA V5.
• Create 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOMs.
• Review customer requirements and ensure design compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and program teams.
• Support products through manufacturing and production.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Recent CATIA V5 experience is required.
• Aircraft seating experience is highly preferred.
• Aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing design background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
