Overview
TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Gainesville, Texas.
Responsibilities- Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
- Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
- Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
- Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing.
Additionally, the role notes: 1 year of experience is preferred; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be considered. The position requires standing and walking for long periods and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
