Physician Assistant​/Psychiatry​/Texas​/Locum Tenens​/Nurse Practitioner​/Physician Assistant

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as necessary
• Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

• Valid Nurse Practitioner / PA license in the state of Texas
• Master's degree in Nursing / PA from an accredited program
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner /PA
• Strong knowledge of medical standards and best practices
• Experience in Psychiatry or Addiction medicine is highly desirable
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Commitment to maintaining infection control protocols

Pay: $54.00 - $56.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 ? 40 per week
