We are currently seeking instructors for our Clinical Medical Assistant courses. The faculty member will provide learning activities and support that lead to the achievement of course and program objectives and contribute to the overall educational environment of the college and community.

• Teach and oversee clinical medical assistant coursework, including lecture and lab experiences.
• Provide academic advising, committee participation, professional and community development support.
• Promote student success through outreach and engagement.
• Uphold the college mission, integrity, leadership, stewardship, respect, and accountability to students and employees.
• Maintain respectful interactions with students and colleagues.
• Engage in institutional effectiveness activities, including student learning outcomes and program level outcomes.

• Must be a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Licensed Vocational Nurse, or Registered Nurse.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Above average computer skills.
• Demonstrated respect and professionalism in collegial settings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to promote an effective learning environment in lecture and lab settings.

• Proficient in Canvas LMS.

• Experience working in the medical field as a Clinical Medical Assistant or Licensed Nurse.

• 3 years experience preferred.
• Experience teaching in community college, dual credit, and/or public school settings preferred.
