Mission des projets IS 4.0, coordination et soutien aux initiatives d'amélioration continue, alignement avec la stratégie numérique et gestion de la disponibilité des systèmes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Occupational Summary (Position Objective & Authorities) Objective:
    Coordinates, and supports IS projects related to IS 4.0 applications, as well as associated continuous improvement initiatives particularly those focused on business functions such as engineering, sales, and manufacturing. Applies Safran's best practices and methodologies while ensuring system availability and providing escalation support to Safran Seats USA IS Management. Authorities:
    Align with IS 4.0 initiatives with business strategy and digital transformation goals accordingly with Safran Seats strategy.
  • Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
    • Coordinate and/or assist local and corporate teams with projects related to IS applications.
    • Assist and participate in validation testing of new solutions.
    • Assist to the selection of IS applications based on evolving business needs.
    • Maintain and update process mappings for workflows linked to IS application.
    • Team Leadership & Training
      • Guide, develop, and train analysts and power users on technical topics and data queries.
      • Mentor team members, supporting their skills and knowledge growth.
      • Lead the team in implementing code changes and troubleshooting software issues.
    • Process, Quality & Documentation Improvement
      • Draft comprehensive business requirements and finalize technical specification.
      • Develop training materials and deliver end‑user training sessions as needed.
      • Define and implement procedures for managing change requests.
      • Review and improve software development standards and documentation practices.
      • Write, review, and update system and software documentation.
    • Technical Support & Collaboration
      • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, guiding the team through problem resolution.
      • Coordinate technical matters with consultants and external support providers.
      • Collaborate with users and application specialists to capture requirements, analyze workflows, and investigate problem areas.
      • Other Responsibilities
        • Oversee and coordinate IS support activities related to incident management (ticketing).
        • Perform additional related duties as assigned to meet department goals.
    • Qualification Requirements
      • Education & Qualification – Minimum of Bachelor of Science. Ideally Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology field of study or 6 years of related experience in lieu of the degree.
      • Work Experience – Technical knowledge – Minimum of 5 years of experience leading and facilitating business requirements, solution definition and design, application configuration, testing and implementation. Experience in support/manage systems like PLM, ERP and MES as well as CRM and supplier portal management. Familiarity with programming language (.Net, Java, C#, SQL), BI Tools and data analysis.
      • Professional Skills – Collaboration, Application Analysis, Analytical Skills, and Software Development Life Cycle. Ability to simplify complex technical topics. Organizational skills and perseverance. Ability to work with cross‑functional team consisting of developers, vendors and business users.
      • Behavioral Skills – Strong leadership, clear communication (both oral and written). Stress management, adaptability to change, creativity and innovation. Team facilitation, active listening, open dialogue, ability to motivate.
      • Desirable Aspects – French and/or Spanish would be a major added value. ERP M3 and or Mapics/Powerlink.
