As a EDL Technician Assembly, you'll contribute to meaningful projects that shape the future of aerospace. This position contributes to our vision by:
Reads basic/simple blueprints and other written material, then responsible for layout and building of development components or sub assemblies along with first articles with or without the aid of tooling. Prepare and paint various materials to match customer trim and finish definition may be required. Maintain a high quality of workmanship and assumes responsibility for work performed in assigned duties.

Shadow Senior EDL Technicians and take direction from experienced team members to learn assembly processes and best practices. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

At Safran Seats, we value service-oriented team players who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to our dynamic, innovative environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Any prior exposure to manufacturing, assembly, or technical environments is a
• plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn to read and interpret blueprints.
• Exposure to measuring tools, micrometers, and calipers is a plus but not required.

Must have experience with hand tools, wrenches, screwdrivers etc.
• Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
• Ability to read and review written communication.
• Prefer knowledge of navigating through CATIA or related CAD system
• Must be able to read and interpret moderately complex bluepints
• Prefer experience with measuring tools, micrometers and calipers
• Must have experience with hand tools, wrenches, screwdrivers etc.
