Toddler Teacher (2-Year-Old Classroom)

Pay: $16-$19 per hour

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Gainesville is seeking a dependable Toddler Teacher to support our 2-year-old classroom. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys guiding young children as they build independence, language skills, and early social development in a structured, play-based environment.

Our toddler program emphasizes consistent routines, positive guidance, and hands-on learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and support daily toddler classroom activities

* Implement age-appropriate lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum

* Support routines including meals, diapering or toileting, rest time, and transitions

* Encourage language development, peer interaction, and early problem-solving

* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom

* Communicate regularly with families regarding daily activities

* Follow all Virginia licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED required

* Previous childcare or toddler classroom experience required

* Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices

* Must meet Virginia childcare licensing and background requirements
