Electronics Technician III

Opportunity

The Electronics Technician III provides advanced technical support for security communications equipment.

• Supports U.S. Department of State requirements in multiple overseas theaters in potentially high‑threat environments.
• During overseas deployments, the Electronics Technician III may be required to rotate between theaters and to multiple locations within each theater.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and testing of electronic components and systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure full operational readiness.
• Document maintenance actions, test results, and parts usage in accordance with contract requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, quality assurance procedures, and security protocols.

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Must have active Top Secret or higher Security clearance

• Minimum five (5) years of technical experience in the technical support for modern commercial and tactical radio systems
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing analog and digital electronic circuits
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Familiarity with radio repeater systems and their electronic subsystems
• Excellent writing and verbal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint)

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time, including extended periods of standing, walking, and navigating airports or government facilities.
• Position may require deployment up to 50% of the calendar year in high-threat or high-risk environments across multiple locations.
• Domestic assignments, including several months in the Washington, D.C. metro area for training and program support, may be required prior to overseas deployment.
• Must be willing to serve in positions worldwide, including both domestic and overseas assignments.
