We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Team Leader to lead our clinical team in a busy Family Medicine Office serving patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. The ideal candidate will possess strong nursing leadership skills, a commitment to quality patient care, and the ability to foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise, mentor, and coordinate a team of Clinical Assistants to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care for all patients.
- Oversee daily clinical operations, including staff scheduling, workflow optimization, and adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including clinical assessments, patient education, care coordination, and support for procedures.
- Ensure competency and ongoing training for all clinical staff, supporting professional development and maintaining high standards of practice.
- Facilitate effective communication among providers, nursing staff, and administrative teams to promote seamless patient care and a positive work environment.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of clinical staff
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and uphold compliance with organizational policies and state/federal regulations.
Address patient concerns and collaborate with leadership to continuously improve patient experience and patient care outcomes.
Qualifications- Active RN or LPN license; additional certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS) preferred. Candidates with healthcare experience and strong leadership skills will be considered in lieu of the specified requirements.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in a Family Medicine or Primary Care setting preferred.
