Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Stocking, Bakery, Retail & Store Manager

In this role, you’ll work with the overnight team, playing an integral part in supporting the bakery department’s daytime operations, producing and ensuring the freshest bakery items are available for our customers. Whatwill I do?
- Provide incredible service to our customers
- Bake products, take orders, and prepare items for display by slicing, packaging and labeling the products
- Keep our shelves stocked with fresh items
- May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products/inventory

Work Environment and Physical DemandsThe physical demands of this work are classified as medium to heavy. Work includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, occasional heavy lifting, bending, and reaching, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 5 – 20 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of greater than 50 pounds occasionally.
You may receive assistance with heavy items, if available. Upper extremity repetition is moderate and trunk movement involves moderate to moderately high twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors and involves exposure to various work environments, including cold (33 – 55 degrees), freezing (-20 – 20 degrees) and hot temperatures (exceeds 85 degrees with work surfaces or equipment that exceeds 135 degrees).
Basic tools and equipment used include common baking utensils and equipment, and oven.
- Collective customer service experience, internally and/or externally preferably in a food service, grocery or retail setting
- Experience working in a Bakery
