TO VIEW FULL POSITION SUMMARY
General Responsibilities:
The Lead Assistant Golf Professional will play an integral role in the overall management of golf operations, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for Members and guests. The successful candidate will exemplify professionalism, passion for golf, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Daily Operations Management:
Oversee and monitor play, ensuring adherence to course policies and smooth operations. - Staff Training and Supervision:
Assist and supervise outside operations staff to ensure excellent service delivery. - Inventory Management:
Support inventory control and merchandising with the Director of Retail. - Tournament Program Assistance:
Help plan and execute tournaments, member games, and events. - Club Services:
Provide club fitting and repair services to enhance equipment performance. - Professional Representation:
Act as a facility ambassador by regularly engaging with Members and playing in Member groups.
Compensation range $80,000-$85,000 includes:
- Salary ($72,500-$75,000)
- Retail commission
- Lessons

- Bachelors degree
- Class A PGA Member in good standing
- 3-5 years of experience as an Assistant Golf Professional at a high-level or top-tier private club
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, member engagement, and service
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Golf Genius, Microsoft Office, and relevant golf-operations systems
- Experience supporting tournament administration, merchandising, and staff leadership
