Finance & Accounting Intern (Fall Intern): To assist the Finance and Accounting department with Accounts Payable (Service, Supply, Trane, Parklawn).

Job Type: Intern

Seasonal: Fall

Office Location: Gaithersburg, MD

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

What you will do:

• Accounts payable - assist with Trane Invoice Indexing and Vouchering
• Accounts payable - assist with Service, Supply, and Parklawn Business-related costing (indexing)
• Accounts payable - assist with Statement Reconciliation
• Respond to client requests for invoices and/or statements
• Accounts receivable – support as needed
• Assist with department-related projects
• Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a college degree
• 1 year of work experience preferred
• Client service experience preferred
• Knowledgeable in MS Office;
  Adobe and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to prioritize, and strong critical thinking and listening skills
• Detailed, organized, analytical, able to multitask, enjoys staying busy

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in standard office environment
