Schedule & Compensation- Full Time, 40 hours weekly
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
- $21.00/hour
- Serves as communication coordinator for assigned neighborhood; answers telephones, page calls, retrieve/deliver messages
- Maintains medical records of each resident on the unit, thins medical records according to policy
- Assists with ensuring labs are completed as order and lab book is up-to-date
- Assists residents in scheduling transportation and/or PDA for appointments in accordance with facility process/policy; keeps neighborhood appointment calendar up to date, and communicates pending appointments to nursing staff so residents are ready
- Assists on unit by answering resident call lights, transporting residents on the unit, assisting with resident mealtime
- Maintains unit census, keeps unit roster and all daily assignments up to date
- Prepares new admission charts/delivers discharged charts to medical records
- Ensure office supplies available for unit staff
- Assists with charging/maintaining SARA phones
- High school diploma or GED equivalency, required
- GNA license in the state of Maryland, preferred
- One (1) year related experience, preferred
