Assistant Bid Coordinator (part-time)

Coordinate bid opportunities and information for Bid Desk, Sales, Project Engineering, and Management.

Job Type

Part-Time, 20 hours per week, working 4 – 5 days per week

  • preferred schedule 8AM – 12PM
Workplace Type

Flex for your day, 2 days per week in person

What You Will Do
  • Maintain a good channel of communication between Bid Desk, Project Engineering Team, Sales Departments, and external clients
  • Assist with preparing bid information and reports for the Bid Desk, Project Engineering Team, Sales Teams, and others as deemed necessary
  • Manage and respond to a high volume of emails efficiently while meeting tight deadlines
  • Assist Bid Coordinator, Sales, and Sales Support with their clients' requests
  • Process and maintain electronic bid files
  • Maintain CRM module
  • Support and enhance new processes for efficiency to better serve both internal and external clients
  • Fulfill requests from other Trane offices for bidding
  • Back up to Bid Coordinator
  • Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe, and knowledge with Bluebeam is a plus
  • Familiar with mechanical drawings and blueprints is preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of administrative experience
  • Great client service experience, quick learner, and ability to adapt
  • Sense of urgency, self-sufficient, organized, strong communication and writing skills
Physical Requirements
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in standard office environment
