Program Analyst

NIST is seeking a Program Analyst to join the Manufacturing Extension Partnership's Performance Evaluation and Economic Impacts Division. In this role, you will analyze program performance and U.S. manufacturing trends, conduct statistical and economic research, evaluate program impacts, and transform complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and strengthen U.S. manufacturing.

To qualify for this position, you must have at least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level (ZA-II at NIST) or higher. Specialized experience is defined as:

• Experience analyzing data from public or private organizations to support program evaluation and data-driven decision making within an organization.
• Experience utilizing data analysis tools or techniques to distill insights from varying data sets.
• Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
