Superintendent - Occupied Healthcare Renovations
Join our dynamic team as a Superintendent supporting high-impact construction projects in occupied healthcare environments. You will play a crucial role in managing renovations of radiology units, doctors' offices, hospitals, and medical equipment spaces. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to projects that support cancer centers, children's hospitals, and high-reliability healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage construction projects in occupied healthcare environments, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Implement and maintain infection control, hazard analysis, and dust mitigation procedures in accordance with ICRA standards.
- Read and interpret MEP designs, drawings, and blueprint plans to guide project execution.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
- Ensure all construction activities are completed on schedule and within budget, proactively addressing any issues that arise.
- Maintain professionalism and accountability in all interactions and project management tasks.
- Proven experience in occupied renovation, especially within the healthcare construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of ICRA standards, including infection control, hazard analysis, and dust mitigation procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP designs, drawings, and blueprint plans.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder and client interaction.
- Professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Adobe and Procore.
- Experience in pushing construction schedules and solving project changes.
- Willingness to train and shadow job sites if lacking healthcare experience.
The role requires 100% on-site work within a 60-mile radius of Montgomery County, covering areas such as Delaware, Eastern Shore, Hagerstown, DC, NOVA, Woodbridge VA, and Glenstone PA. Some projects may require weekend and night shifts, but schedules are managed to avoid back-to-back projects at the same location. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr. pto 2weeks, standard holidays. yearly bonus and 401k match
