Salary Range: $24.00 - $27.00 Hourly Do you love working with children and helping create positive dental experiences? We’re looking for a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team!

Our ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys working with kids, is comfortable creating a warm and welcoming environment, and has a passion for pediatric dentistry. Previous experience in a pediatric dental setting is strongly preferred.

The Dental Assistant “assists” our Dentist during a variety of dental procedures. Schedule:

Full-time, Monday
- Thursday 8:40am-5pm, Friday 7:40am-3pmDental Assisting

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and examinations

Comfort and reassure children throughout their dental visits

Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment

Knowledge of general anatomy of the mouth and dental terms

Taking and processing X-rays of patients

Perform lab tasks as instructed

Greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments

Advising patients on recommended oral hygiene

Maintaining accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

Strong communications skills required to deliver oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions

Handling general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental practice

Qualifications:

Pediatric dental experience preferred

Current Radiology License/Certification requiredA genuine desire and enthusiasm for working with children

Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethic

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with your co-workers and patients

Spanish-speaking is a plus!
