Children's Art Instructor

Art Instructor Position

We're looking for talented, enthusiastic art instructors to teach our exciting, new Kidcreate Academy art curriculum that helps students build real artistic skills over time. The role is ideal for educators who enjoy working with children and can confidently teach foundational art techniques in a fun, supportive environment.

Candidates must have a strong foundation in art (drawing, painting, color theory) and are required to submit a 5-10 piece art portfolio or website link with their application. They should also have experience managing a classroom and ideally possess a degree or coursework in Art Education, Fine Arts, or Design.

• Teach structured art lessons that develop skills progressively over time
• Facilitate engaging classes for children of various ages and skill levels
• Demonstrate drawing, painting, and other art techniques
• Break complex skills into clear, age-appropriate steps
• Provide constructive, encouraging feedback to students
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment

We provide the entire curriculum for our instructors. No development necessary or lesson planning necessary. All lesson plans and art supplies are provided. 10-25 hours a week. If you want more hours, we can talk about additional opportunities for teaching and studio support. You are paid for prep time, class setup, class time, and clean-up time. Paid training as we prepare you for the best job ever!

Mileage reimbursement. A very flexible schedule.

Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Kidcreate art classes are a great way to introduce children to the wonderful world of art! We provide a positive, self-esteem-building environment for children to explore the visual arts. Children get messy with paint, clay, and so much more!

Specializing in children's art classes, camps, and art-themed birthday parties, Kidcreate Studio is an art studio just for kids. At Kidcreate Studio, children will create fridge-worthy masterpieces, learn art concepts, and experiment with many different art materials.

Weekly classes, camps, workshops and homeschool classes are age-specific and are tailored to provide each student with the curriculum that suits them best.
