Electrical Engineering Technician

Description: Patton Electronics Company is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician with Lab View and Test Stand experience to support product development activities in the Engineering department.

• Designing & creating hardware/software solutions to test Patton products.
• Assembling, testing and troubleshooting digital and analog electronics circuitry.
• Integrating electrical and mechanical components for test fixtures and prototypes.
• Creating and maintaining Lab View and Test Stand programs for such test fixtures and prototypes.
• Participating in pilot runs introducing new products to the manufacturing process.
• Assisting in regulatory compliance testing of products.
• Reading and interpreting electronic schematics and mechanical drawings, and using Microsoft Office to generate documentation, reports and spreadsheets.

Candidates must hold an Associate’s Degree in Electronics or a related discipline, or possess an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work experience. They should have 3-5 years of directly applicable experience. Proficiency with electronic test and measurement equipment is required; familiarity with communications equipment and protocols is advantageous. Candidates must be well-organized, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and have good verbal and written communication skills.
