Role Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer II leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and methods for new and existing products within an ISO
13485 regulated environment. The ideal candidate applies basic engineering principles to drive cost reductions and efficiency improvements. This role manages up to $300k in Cap Ex over 2–5 yearly projects.
The Manufacturing Engineer II collaborates with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to align on project goals, KPIs, and timelines. They plan, manage, and execute New Product Introductions (NPIs), new equipment introductions, design changes, qualifications, validations, and equipment improvements. Additionally, they assess equipment, tooling, and product specifications to ensure proper function and drive continuous improvement and optimization efforts as a reliable subject matter expert for Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, etc.) – Required
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment – Required
- Project management experience – Required
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment – Preferred
- Continuous Improvement Certification (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, etc.) – Preferred
- CAD/Solid Works knowledge – Preferred
- Programming knowledge (Python, BI Power App, etc.) – Preferred
Salary range: $81,500 to $126,500 per year. Base pay may vary by location, equity, and experience. Eligible for an annual bonus of 10% of base salary based on performance; total target cash range: $89,600 to $139,100.
