This position works independently while coordinating closely with the Maintenance Manager (MM), Program Manager (PM), technicians, vendors, and government representatives to sustain high aircraft availability year‐round.
The Mission Aircraft Maintenance & Mission Readiness

* Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul aircraft engines and systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, avionics, and electrical components.
* Utilize OEM manuals, IPCs, equipment lists, serial‐number effectivity, and modification status to troubleshoot discrepancies on‐ground and minimize off‐site maintenance events.
* Serve as Maintenance Lead under Army Regulation 95‐20, fulfilling all associated responsibilities.
Technical Leadership & Inspection Authority
* Lead and supervise on‐site mechanics while coordinating vendor technicians performing specialized inspections, repairs, or logistical support.
* Serve as an inspector whenever more than one technician is assigned, ensuring all work is validated, documented, and tool‐secure prior to return‐to‐service.
* Assist in the development and enforcement of quality assurance and on‐the‐job training procedures for assigned technicians.
* Foster a culture of safety, accountability, procedural compliance, and technical excellence.
Compliance, Documentation & Reporting
* Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, Army Regulation 95‐20, DCMA guidance (as applicable), and program Ground Operating Procedures (GOP).
* Maintain complete, accurate, and audit‐ready maintenance documentation, including CMP cards, logbooks, MELs, NEFs, intermittent discrepancies, and corrective action records.
* Maintain an accurate turnover log, tracking all open MEL/NEF items, material status, troubleshooting activity, and recurring discrepancies.
* Prepare and submit daily maintenance status reports and required documentation to the Maintenance Manager.
Inventory, Tooling & Logistics Oversight
* Oversee accurate procurement of aircraft parts and materials; verify components are applicable and correct prior to installation.
* Utilize Net Suite to create requisitions for parts, tools, and consumables supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
* Perform monthly reconciliation of spare parts inventories; report inventory status to the Maintenance Manager.
