Overview

A well-established organization is seeking Applicant Services Representatives to support retirement benefit application processing and participant services. This role is ideal for professionals with customer service experience in benefits administration, pension services, or financial services operations who enjoy working in a structured environment while providing accurate and timely service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, validate, and confirm required documentation for retirement benefit applications.
  • Process application status requests, benefit applications, and verification requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Calculate retirement benefit amounts and assist with benefit adjustments when necessary.
  • Communicate with participants via phone or written correspondence to clarify application information.
  • Research employment and benefits records to support application processing.
  • Prepare system-generated or template correspondence related to applications and participant inquiries.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve documentation or eligibility questions.
  • Support the contact center during periods of high call volume when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures for application review and approval.
  • Perform additional administrative and operational support tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in benefits administration, retirement services, pensions, or related financial services operations preferred.
  • Experience working with benefit applications, retirement plans, or pension processing is strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work accurately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to investigate issues, research documentation, and resolve inquiries efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.

Pay: $23 - $30 an hour
