Job Description:
Benchmark Therapies is looking for a compassionate, patient-focused Physical Therapist to join our team for a 13-week contract assignment at Asbury Methodist Village, a fast-paced and highly rated retirement community in Gaithersburg, MD. This short-term assignment is perfect for a PT who enjoys working with older adults, thrives in a supportive environment, and wants to make a meaningful impact while experiencing patients across skilled nursing, personal care and independent living care settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality physical therapy evaluations and treatments for residents
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that improve mobility, safety, and overall quality of life
- Collaborate closely with an experienced rehab team, nursing staff, and other healthcare partners
- Document services using Net Health (training available if needed)
Requirements:
- PA Physical Therapist license in good standing
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in senior care
- A flexible, compassionate, and professional approach to care
- Two-step PPD or TB skin test within 30 days of start date
- CPR certification through The American Heart Association or The Red Cross
- Covid vaccination records or exemption
- Background check and fingerprinting
- Resume
- Physical performed by a physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner
