Health Economics & Payer Evidence (HEPE) Lead Introduction to role:

Are you ready to set the strategic payer evidence direction that turns breakthrough science into patient access? As the HEPE Lead, you will guide how our medicines earn and retain access across the world, partnering closely with clinical, medical evidence, observational research, and payer teams.

You will operate as a forward-looking strategic partner, translating insights into target product profiles and global payer evidence plans that stand up to scrutiny and shape pricing and market access strategies. Accountabilities:

You will have a global senior-level leadership role andbe responsible forsetting the strategic

HEPEdirection for thecompoundsyou are working on,demonstrating the value of our products to patients,payersand health authorities. You will collaborate with Clinical Development, Medical Evidence Generation, Observational Research, and Payer Teams in designing and implementing innovative

HEPEstrategies and activities for target product profiles/claims, global payer evidence plans, and market access and pricing strategies. An equally important part of your role will be to leadandinfluence the production of scientific evidence for robust portfolio decisions, global reimbursementdossiersand reimbursement submissions to achieve market access.

Proactively, you will predict and resolve issues that affect market access decisions andtake responsibility for detailed strategic and tactical planning and implementation of payer evidence plans.

By being innovative, generating novel approaches and challenging the status quo at the highest levels both internally and externally, you will deliver the strongest evidence package supporting patient access. Part of your remit will involve preparing proposals for outsourced projects and collaborating with local market affiliates to prepare evidence that satisfies payer needs in their markets.

You’llalso represent health economics andpayer evidence in cross-functional project teams to ensure that worldwide payer needs are reflected inourdrug development programs.

As part of your leadership role, you will empower other functions to support the delivery of payer strategy,anticipatingandremoving obstacles to their delivery and providing them withexpertise, support,challenge and resource as appropriate.

Essential Skills/

Experience:
  • 3-5 years of global launch experience within a health economic consultancy or pharmaceutical company (either at a marketing company/local affiliate or global level).
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant areas, such as health economicsor a related quantitative discipline.
  • Effective communication skills to different audiences, including both scientific and commercial
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, understand and apply different technical approaches, and have a wide understanding of different HTA system sand their changing needs forhealtheconomic and payer evidence.
  • Applying a strategicmindsetbyanticipatingfuture possibilities and translating them to breakthrough strategies as well asbeing resilient towards setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations
  • Driving the publicationstrategyto support payer needs, generate peer-reviewed scientific publications, as well as effective communication of sophisticated ideas for use with both payers and other partners.
Desirable Skills/

Experience:
  • Formal post graduate degree in health economics or a related quantitative subject area, oradvancedwork experience in this field
  • Payer, Health Technology Assessment, public health, or health policy experience
  • Global market access launch experience and global payer evidence development experience
  • In-depth knowledge and technical capability in health economics and payer evidence needs, and its application to pharmaceutical development at an international level, especially economic modelling, evidence synthesis, clinical trial design and analyses and other analytical techniquesrequiredto support payer needs.

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $  -  USD
. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program.
