Provides IC data management support to modernize megadata repositories, dataflow management, data provenance and compliance validation, and streaming solutions.
About the RoleCloud Systems Administrator to support the migration of corporate hardware systems into the WANDS/AWS environment. Focus on administering, supporting, and maintaining AWS-based infrastructure while assisting with cloud modernization and operational automation efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and support EC2 instances, VPCs, networking, security controls, IAM.
- Set up and maintain AWS EC2 environments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Apply AWS Well‑Architected Framework principles to support reliable, secure, and efficient system operations.
- Assist with Site Reliability Engineering concepts, automate operational tasks, support resilient system designs, and implement monitoring and logging solutions under established architectural guidance.
- Seven years experience as a Systems Administrator with solid understanding and working knowledge of core Linux operating system components.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field (four additional years of experience may substitute for the degree).
- 8570 IAT Level I or higher (preferably Security+) required and must be obtained prior to starting.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph required.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect‑Associate
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect‑Professional
- AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator‑Associate
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKAD)
- Elastic Certified Engineer
- Elastic Certified Observability Engineer
Possession of a Cloud and 8570 certification is required and will be verified.
Desired QualificationsExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, Dev Ops, CI/CD, and automation.

DetailsTarget salary range: $146,000 – $234,000. Salary determined by scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, competencies, geographic location and contract considerations. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
