DevOps Engineer Security Clearance

Position: DevOps Engineer with Security Clearance
Responsibilities
Administer and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems from bare metal through operational deployment.
Engineer and maintain Ansible automation, including playbooks, roles, custom plugins, callbacks, and inventory systems.
Develop scripts and tools in Python and Bash to automate builds, configuration, and operational tasks.
Build and maintain container images and orchestrations using Docker or Podman.
Implement Infrastructure as Code practices and support CI/CD pipelines and build automation.
Manage Git workflows and branching strategies for infrastructure and application code.
Configure networking for hosts, containers, and virtualized environments.
Provision and bootstrap physical hardware using PXE, boot, and kickstart methods.
Manage virtual machine life cycles using VMware and KVM.
Administer package ecosystems including RPM, pip, and Ansible Galaxy.
Collaborate with stakeholders to document, communicate, and deliver reliable platform services.
Experience Requirements
2 or more years of relevant Dev Ops or Linux system administration experience. Senior consideration at 5 or more years.
Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux across full system lifecycle.
Deep experience with Ansible automation and ecosystem.
Strong Python scripting for automation and tool development.
Advanced Bash or shell scripting for build orchestration and system automation.
Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker or Podman.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Git workflows, and network configuration.

Experience with physical provisioning, PXE, boot, and kickstart.

Experience with VMware and KVM virtualization.
Experience managing package ecosystems including RPM, pip, and Ansible Galaxy.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Eligible for Public Trust clearance.
