Job Title: Procurement Category Manager - AV

Location: Fully Remote or (Preferred: Montvale, NJ – onsite 1x/week)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge in purchasing Technology products and services, including outsourcing.
• Develop procurement strategies by analyzing spend data, market trends, category-specific needs, and business requirements.
• Create and manage the full RFx process (RFPs, RFQs):
• Define scope and evaluation criteria
• Work with cross-functional teams
• Lead supplier negotiations
• Maintain thorough documentation
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers:
• Define scope of services, specs, project timelines, SLAs, KPIs, and legal terms.
• Build financial models: ROI, NPV, supplier scorecards, savings tracking, and make vs. buy models.
• Execute strategic sourcing initiatives using best practices.
• Influence internal stakeholders and drive policy compliance.
• Encourage innovation and improvements
• Resolve supplier-related issues proactively

Skills Required

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in:
• Strategic sourcing
• Contract negotiation and writing
• Outsourcing
• Project management
• Demonstrated success in roles of increasing complexity.
• Preferred:
  Mix of management consulting and internal corporate experience.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong financial analysis, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
