The System Administrators must provide Storage Support – the sustainment of the entire storage environment for two geographically dispersed locations, including support for a heterogeneous environment comprised of multi‑vendor high‑performance storage platforms, mass storage subsystems, fiber‑channel interconnection fabrics, and supporting software in a complex computing environment.
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
- Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
- Provide Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
- Perform day‑to‑day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Escalate and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Provide in‑depth troubleshooting of IT systems and detailed analysis for escalated tickets.
- Support the dispatch system and remain involved in the resolution of hardware problems.
- Configure and manage Linux, Unix and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems; install/load OS software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components; implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Qualifications: B.S. in a technical discipline and 10 years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required, or 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree. DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required.
Salary Range: $180k–$220k (Annually)*
