As we scale, we’re looking for a commercially sharp, mission-aligned Head of Partnerships Team & Strategy to lead our partnerships function, build high-value relationships, and drive distribution, visibility, and growth across the ecosystem.
This is a hands-on leadership role with real ownership over who we partner with and how.
Time Commitment: 5–8+ hours per week

About This OpportunityYou will lead the Partnerships team, working closely with leadership to define strategy, manage the pipeline, and personally drive the most important relationships.
This role is about turning partnerships into real growth, reach, and value for the ecosystem.
1. Team Leadership & OKR SettingOwn the partnerships team’s direction, structure, and performance.
You will:
- Set quarterly OKRs and key initiatives
- Run regular team check-ins and track accountability
- Build and manage the partnerships pipeline
- Identify gaps and recruit new volunteers
- Report progress and surface cross-team opportunities
Design a systematic, high-quality approach to sourcing and engaging partners.
You will:
- Research and prioritise target partners across key categories
- Design and lead outbound partnership campaigns
- Develop tailored partnership propositions
- Track outreach performance and iterate on strategy
- Coordinate with city leads on local partnership opportunities
Personally lead high-value partnerships and ensure execution.
You will:
- Lead negotiations and close major partnerships
- Manage relationships post-signing
- Integrate partners into events and programming
- Coordinate promotion across content and channels
- Build repeatable playbooks for the team
Drive growth through strategic visibility and ecosystem relationships.
You will:
- Secure promotional and co-marketing partnerships
- Build relationships with events, media, and ecosystem platforms
- Create speaking and co-hosting opportunities
- Design partnership activations with the content team
- Develop sponsorship and deeper engagement opportunities
- High visibility across a global climate and cleantech ecosystem
- Direct collaboration with leadership and city leads across 90+ cities
- Ownership over a core growth function
- Experience in partnerships, BD, and commercial strategy
- A pathway into a senior commercial or leadership role
- Experience in partnerships, BD, sales, or commercial roles
- Ability to manage pipelines and drive accountability
- Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders
- Interest in climate, cleantech, or sustainability
- Familiarity with tools like Airtable, Notion, or CRM systems is a plus
- Strategic and able to prioritise high-impact opportunities
- Commercially sharp and comfortable discussing value and terms
- Relationship-driven and strong at building trust
- Self-starting and execution-focused
- Mission-driven and aligned with climate impact
