Job Title
Systems Administrator SME
Responsibilities- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Manage daily configuration and operation activities of IT systems.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve system problems.
- Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
- Provide day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and other hardware.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity analysis and planning.
- Communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
- Ensure completion of resolution processes.
- Maintain in‑depth troubleshooting experience for IT systems.
- Configure and manage Linux operating systems, install and load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components.
- Support the design of secure systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
- Analyze and resolve complex problems involving server hardware, applications, and software integration.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Certification in good standing qualifying for CWQMP (formerly CWIP) Basic Proficiency Level.
- 15+ years of related experience.
- Technical skills:
Linux (RHEL, Rocky, Ubuntu), Windows Active Directory, LDAP, VMware, virtual machine and hypervisor management, Git Lab administration, automated build/runners, Net Backup, Ansible, basic networking, implementation and enforcement of security policies, and integration with enterprise security monitor systems and log collection. - Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Strong problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution ability.
- Proficiency in providing assistance to users and communicating status to stakeholders.

CompensationThe likely salary range for this position is $229,500 - $310,500.
