DevOps Engineer-TS​/SCI Scope Polygraph

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD |
Schedule: Full-time, primarily onsite with up to one remote day per week depending on tasking

A mission-focused technology organization is modernizing its critical systems in Annapolis Junction, MD, and is seeking Dev Ops Engineers at multiple experience levels—from early-career professionals to Senior and Lead roles to support this high-impact initiative. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.

• Deploy and support applications in complex production environments
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain software and infrastructure
• Manage network servers and related technology tools
• Monitor systems to ensure required levels of availability and performance
• Troubleshoot system issues, outages, and application deployment problems
• Support Dev Ops automation, infrastructure provisioning, and continuous integration/deployment initiatives
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and technical teams supporting modernization efforts

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with MASH and virtual machines (VMs)
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose
• Experience with Docker Swarm
• Experience with Git Lab CI/CD or similar distributed application deployment tools
• Experience with Terraform scripting and VM provisioning
• Experience with Ansible scripting and development
• Experience with Git
• Background in Dev Ops, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative technical environment

• Python scripting and development experience
• NiFi maintenance and configuration experience
• Elasticsearch maintenance and configuration experience
• Java/Spring Boot experience, particularly troubleshooting application error logs
• HAProxy experience
• MongoDB experience
