Janitor; Part Time

The janitor keeps buildings clean and orderly by performing heavy cleaning duties, including floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall washing, and rubbish removal. No prior experience is required.

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning; return furniture to correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with approved materials and equipment, sanitizing all surfaces.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by a supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
• Show professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• No prior experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to cleaning procedures.
• Good communication skills.

Part‑time schedule, days may vary. Pay: $17.65 per hour.
