Service Technician – Colonnade at Kentlands

Join the Service Technician team at WPM Real Estate Management located in Gaithersburg, MD. This role responds to maintenance work orders, schedules contractors, and oversees contractors in conjunction with the on‑site manager.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with on‑call responsibilities evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation: Hourly rate $25 an hour.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the overall maintenance of the community including trash removal from common area receptacles.
• Identify and resolve all maintenance issues, schedule contractors and oversee them with the onsite manager.
• Perform plumbing work such as cleaning stoppages and replacing parts.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety at the community.
• Assist in outdoor grounds work, including grounds policing and snow removal, when necessary.
• Participate in on‑call schedule for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Present a positive professional demeanor aligned with WPM Brand Compass Values.
• Operate a PC and learn new software.
• Communicate effectively with homeowners, associates, and clients.
• Demonstrate excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and vehicle.
• Troubleshoot minor electrical problems within various types of fixtures.
• Work indoors on ladders, scaffolding, or lifts as well as outdoors.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of maintenance experience preferred.

Seniority Level: Entry level.
