Main Purpose of JobThe Program Manager II position for the IID Support Services Unit, provides strategic vision and full executive oversight for the expanded Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) Support Services Unit. This role directs all administrative, operational, and technical support functions for IID and shares information to the DPSCS Office of the Secretary leadership and other State and Federal agency leaders. Manages critical resources, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining agency-wide data integrity.

Minimum QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology.
Experience:
7 Years of experience managing law enforcement support services staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing the DPSCS Law Enforcement Records Management System (RMS)
- Experience managing Maryland Public Information Act (PIA) Requests and (MPIA) Requests
This recruitment is limited to current DPSCS Intelligence & Investigative Division employees.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONSEmployees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
SELECTION PROCESSSuccessful candidates will be ranked as Best Qualified, Better Qualified, or Qualified and placed on the eligible (employment) list for at least one year.
EXAMINATION PROCESSThe assessment may consist of a rating of your education, training, and experience related to the requirements of the position.
