As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape our communication system products and evolve them with advanced technology solutions.
- Design, develop, and evolve tactical communications systems for military customers.
- Shape our communication system products and incorporate advanced technology solutions.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure new products and applications meet mission and interoperability requirements.
- Analyze system performance, throughput, response time, operational requirements, and system loading.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair U.S. Military Radio Systems, including Manpack Radios.
- Support operations of telecommunication systems and networks across HF, VHF, UHF, and C2 frequency bands.
- Communicate with customers to understand and translate real-world needs into technical specifications.
- 5+ years of experience installing, operating, and maintaining tactical radios and managing the operation of telecommunication systems and networks.
- Experience with various frequency bands, including HF, VHF, UHF, and commonly used C2 frequencies.
- Knowledge of Tactical Data Links, including Link‑16.
- Strong analytical skills for system performance and load analysis.
- Experience working with software development teams to meet mission and interoperability requirements.
- Secret security clearance required.
- High school diploma or GED (IAT LevelII Certification is a plus).
- Training gained through Field Service Representative (FSR), Maintainer MOSs, and NEC’s.
- Experience with transmission modulation, coding, link budgets, radio frequency equipment, antennas, waveforms, blockage mitigation, algorithms, or protocols.
- Experience operating or maintaining sensor systems (e.g., Sunhillo, MargateII, Rici
6000). - Experience operating or maintaining satellite systems (e.g., Star Shield, MILSATCOM).
- Experience creating test cases, procedures, and automated test scripts, with formal testing methods for lab environments.
- Ability to manage discrepancy reports identified during testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Secret clearance; applicants will undergo a security investigation.
- High school diploma or GED (IAT LevelII Certification is a plus).
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for the full benefit program.
