Role Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer II plays a crucial role in leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and manufacturing methods for new and existing products within an ISO
13485 regulated environment. This role is responsible for up to $300k in Cap Ex over 2–5 yearly projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop solutions using basic engineering principles to drive cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to align on project goals, KPIs, and timelines.
  • Plan, manage, and execute New Product Introductions (NPIs), new equipment introductions, design changes, qualifications, validations, and equipment improvements.
  • Assess equipment, tooling, and product specifications to ensure proper function.
  • Drive continuous improvement and optimization efforts, serving as a reliable subject matter expert for Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, etc.).
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (required). 3+ years preferred.
  • Project management experience.
  • Continuous Improvement Certification (e.g., Yellow Belt, Green Belt) preferred.
  • CAD/Solid Works knowledge preferred.
  • Programming knowledge (e.g., Python, BI Power App) preferred.
