A-Line Staffing is now hiring Test Technician 1, Instruments in Sparks, MD.

The Test Technician 1, Instruments would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential.

  • Full time / 40+ hrs/wk.
  • Compensation pay $25.00/hr; benefits after 90 days; 401(k) match after 1 year (eligibility dates)
  • Highlights: contract 52 weeks w/ potential perm based on attendance/performance/business needs
  • Required availability:
    Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm (on-site)
  • In-person interviews
  • Safety shoes required
  • Must have reliable transportation (not near public transit)
Responsibilities
  • Perform production assembly operations and support complete system analysis, testing, and performance optimization
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical/mechanical/software issues on non-functioning test equipment
  • Analyze test results/data to determine pass/fail and support corrective actions/solutions
  • Read/understand drawings and work instructions; support workmanship standards
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area (housekeeping/5S expectations)
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams as needed (ex: manufacturing/quality/planning)
  • Support material handling of instrument parts/sub-assemblies as needed
  • Overtime as needed based on business requirements
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED; attendance mandatory first 90 days
  • Mechanical assembly experience/aptitude ("good hands," comfortable with tools)
  • Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail
  • AA degree in mechatronics (or related) and 0 years' experience OR 3 years' experience in electrical/mechanical/software troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical device manufacturing background (helpful, not required)
  • Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting/analytical skills
  • Experience in regulated/GMP environments and continuous improvement/Lean concepts
