Veterinary Assistant
NOVA Cat Clinic in Arlington, VA is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Assistant to our team.
DescriptionAt our rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Our practice has also been certified by the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) as a Gold Cat Friendly Practice. We are lifelong learners equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources to deliver the highest quality of care.
- Executing treatment orders
- Performing blood draws
- Keeping cages clean and sanitized
- Walking, feeding, and picking up after animals
- Various housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, taking out garbage, etc.)
- Communicating with clients via phone and in person
- Restraining animals
- Assisting with outpatient procedures
- Filling prescribed medications
