Position: Senior Scientist I, Analytical Development

About the Role

Senior Scientist I, Analytical Development (hands-on role supporting antibodies and ADC products).

Responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on laboratory work for analytical method development, optimization, troubleshooting, and phase-appropriate assay support for antibodies and ADCs.
  • Generate, analyze, interpret, and document data packages for product development, comparability studies, method transfer readiness, and late-stage program needs.
  • Support analytical method lifecycle activities (qualification/validation readiness; assay performance evaluation).
  • Contribute to technical documentation (protocols, reports, study summaries, and CMC-related regulatory submission sections).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to improve laboratory execution, data review, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field with 6+ years relevant experience (post-doc included), or MS with 8+ years industry experience.
  • Expertise in analytical development for biopharmaceuticals (antibodies/ADCs).
  • Strong background developing physiochemical methods: HPLC, icIEF, CE-SDS; plus extended characterization.
  • Working knowledge of biologics CMC expectations, analytical control strategies, and specification support.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
  • Strong data analysis, technical writing, problem-solving; willingness to travel domestically/internationally.
Preferred
  • BLA-enabling extended characterization experience and late-stage/BLA project experience.
Benefits (selected)
  • Expected pay range: $113,600/year to $181,600/year + benefits, annual bonus & equity (variable).
