As a Member Frontline Service Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with Company policies by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Providing member service by maintaining exit areas; reviewing member receipts; acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; assisting members with purchasing decisions; and locating merchandise.
• Providing member service by maintaining self‑checkout area; resolving member issues and concerns; promoting Sam's Club products and services; guiding members through self‑service technology; processing member purchases; handling payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges per company policies; and assisting members with transactions in the self‑checkout area.
• Assisting with securing and safeguarding Sam's Club assets and property by observing and communicating potential criminal activity; maintaining paperwork, logs, and other required documentation; executing emergency response procedures; and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices.
• Assisting the training of Member Frontline Service associates on company processes and procedures; teaching new technology and tool functionality; delivering new program rollout training; and providing continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
• Complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, including the Open Door Policy.
• Completing work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicating progress and information; recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Compensation:

• Hourly wage: $19.00 to $27.00*
• Premiums: $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Qualifications:

• Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
• Experience working with mobile retail applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with self‑checkout technology.
• Understanding of security and emergency response procedures.
