• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous material handling, steel standard compliance, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Ensure the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area are clean, properly stocked, and compliant with company policies.
• Assist members with locating merchandise, making purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
• Follow food‑handling and cold‑chain procedures, operate and sanitize equipment, monitor freezer/cooler fans, drains, and doors, and report any problems to management.
• Perform tasks such as receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and completing required audits, paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area throughout the shift.
