We serve families, students, and businesses with walk-in services and reliable B2B Wash & Fold options, all in a thoughtfully designed, safe, and customer-centric space in Gaithersburg, MD.
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Associate located in Gaithersburg, MD. The primary objective of this role is to grow COZYMOM Laundromat’s B2B Wash & Fold business by securing new commercial partnerships and increasing recurring laundry volume. The Business Development Associate will identify and approach prospective business clients with ongoing laundry needs (such as gyms, spas, salons, restaurants, clinics, hotels/motels, and similar organizations), schedule meetings, present service options, and convert prospects into long-term accounts.
Responsibilities include lead generation, local market outreach, pipeline management, proposal support, and coordinating onboarding to ensure a smooth transition from sale to service. This role requires a proactive, field-based approach and strong relationship-building skills to expand our commercial customer base.
- 1+ year experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within laundromat Wash & Fold, commercial laundry, or a related service industry
- Strong lead generation and prospecting skills, including in-person outreach and relationship-driven selling
- Market research capability to identify high-potential local business segments and outreach strategies
- Proficiency in presentations and the ability to communicate service value clearly and persuasively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse clients
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, including handling objections and tailoring solutions
- Proven ability to meet sales targets, manage a pipeline, and work independently with strong time management
- Must have authorization to work in the USA
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (field-based client visits)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required
- Understanding of the laundry or service industry is an advantage
