Title:
Account Manager, Biologics. This role is part of the Advanced Wound Management team. You will call on hospitals, wound care centers, and private offices to provide key brands Santyl, Iodosorb, and other products for all types of wound injuries.
- Generate a territory plan of action to attain and achieve territory sales goals using excellent sales skills, territory management skills, and customer relationships.
- Educate end users on the clinical benefits of Smith+Nepphew products.
- Deliver sales presentations to key customers and customer groups, and conduct product lunches and dinners for identified customer groups.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and thought leaders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years B2B, direct selling, or medical sales experience, preferably within the acute care setting.
- Proven track record in effectively presenting key concepts and recommendations to customers in formal and informal settings.
- Strong analytical skills, including pipeline management, territory analysis, and territory management. Proven success with complex sales processes.
- Experience selling in an environment with multiple call points and decision makers within an account.
- Professional training program experience (e.g., Challenger Selling).
All field sales professionals who are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role must successfully complete the credentialing process and comply with the requirements of those facilities, which may include adherence to any established vaccine protocols.
Benefits & CompensationThe anticipated base compensation range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000 USD annually. In addition to base compensation, this position is eligible for sales commission and incentives based on set targets. The commission earned will depend on performance in the role.
