Outside Sales Representative

$90,816 per year – Commission only with weekly performance bonuses.

AKE Safety Equipment, founded in 1989, is a market‑leading manufacturer and distributor of fire safety equipment. We operate nationwide and sell our uniquely effective "STOP-FYRE" fire extinguisher directly to farmers across the United States.

• Sell STOP‑FYRE products directly to farmers, driving farm‑to‑farm throughout a protected territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agricultural customers.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and leave a measurable impact on customer safety.
• Participate in ongoing product and sales training.
• Track and report sales activity in our CRM.

• Many years of outside sales experience, preferably in the agricultural sector.
• Strong competitive drive and a proven track record of sales success.
• Connection to the agricultural community (e.g., grew up on a farm, worked in a farm setting, or has regular business with farmers).
• Background in construction and/or excavation knowledge of the industry.
• Entrepreneurial spirit: independent, self‑motivated, and business‑oriented.
• Commitment to service: prior experience in public safety roles such as firefighter, law enforcement, military, or EMT is a plus.
