Business Development Manager – Residential Construction – Remote
Lead sales efforts in the residential construction space by generating leads, analyzing markets, engaging industry experts, and building relationships with key accounts.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive market research to generate leads and evaluate the residential and home service market.
- Identify high-potential key accounts that can drive growth and strengthen market presence, using data-driven insights and a proactive approach.
- Regularly evaluate the residential and home service market to pinpoint leading end‑user accounts within specific trades and services.
- Engage with industry experts, attend trade shows, and monitor competitor activity to refine targeting strategies.
- Design and implement customized programs aimed at converting national accounts, leveraging initiatives such as Impact Rewards, Trade In/Trade Up, and Extended Warranty.
- Analyze each account’s specific needs and challenges to develop targeted solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Provide ongoing support and training to account representatives to facilitate adoption and utilization of programs, driving increased engagement and long‑term loyalty.
- Coordinate consistent communication with key decision-makers, addressing concerns and fostering long‑term partnerships aligned with strategic goals.
- Build and sustain direct relationships with the top 20–30 national accounts, ensuring their needs are met and opportunities are maximized.
- Partner with national associations, leveraging key retailers such as Lowe’s and The Home Depot to implement targeted promotions and boost sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key strategic accounts.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Proficiency in , Power Bi, and Showpad.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and maintain fiscal responsibility.
The Total Target Cash Compensation range for this position is $95,600.00 – $, inclusive of base salary and target variable cash compensation. This role is eligible for a sales incentive plan or commission and may be eligible for annual merit increases.
