Ruminant Nutrition Regional Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Sell directly to the consumer or business purchaser or indirectly through various sales channels
• Conduct face-to-face and remote sales with new and existing customers
• Assist in evaluating customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions
• Help identify potential customers and handle existing customer relationships
• Conduct market research and pricing, sales and merchandising activities
• Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends
• Protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers
• Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum of two years of work experience in sales for ruminant nutrition, animal health or related field
• Experience in the dairy industry focusing on ruminant nutrition optimization
• Able and willing to travel up to 75%
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Minimum of six years of sales experience (preferred)
• Experience with technical sales
